The ARP-1715BW series, with its all-in-one
LCD Workstation and detachable computer allow for easy maintenance and quick
upgrades.
FREMONT, CA –
January 31, 2005 –
Arista Corporation, a leading industrial computer
solutions provider and system integrator added the new
ARP-1715BW workstation to their successful line of ARP-1715 15-inch all-in-one
(LCD) Panel Computers. The ARP-1715BW
is a 15 inch LCD workstation with 60-key, 24 function keys membrane keypad
and a modular computer unit that is detachable and
easily removed from the display. This
provides the user easy maintenance and the ability to quickly upgrade the
unit. With an emphasis on dependable,
safe operation and the ability to seamlessly integrate into any environment,
this LCD workstation, with its intuitive touch screen interface is suitable for
various industrial environments such as factory automation.
The ARP-1715BW
series is designed for flexibility, versatility, easy of service and quick
upgradeability. With a detachable panel
mount LCD monitor and modular computer unit, a variety of configurations are
easily achieved. The unit can be
configured with Arista’s BoxPC-500, powered by a PIII or P4 Single Board

slim, BoxPC-103H featuring an Intel® P4 processor, DC24V or
100~230VAC input power supply and a single PCI slot. The BoxPC-103H design makes the ARP-1715BW one of the smallest and
most powerful LCD Workstation on the market.
“The ARP-1715BW allows users the
flexibility of swapping the computer module or LCD display with the simple
removal of four screws,” said Stewart Austin, director of sales for Arista
